Villa Cendrawasih

We have just returned to reality from 10 days of bliss at Villa Cendrawasih. As a group of 9 ranging from parents to teenagers to kids we had an absolute ball. Dudu and his team were warm, welcoming, helpful, professional at all times and we were sad to say goodbye. Thank you for the extra effort in making "Mr Paul's" birthday dinner a little more special and noisier ! Our daily breakfasts were a treat always so fresh and very yummy. Compliments to the chef. We highly suggest the BBQ option for dinner, sensational. The Villa is very well equipped and has an excellent layout which enabled all of us to be together when we wanted and to have 'quiet' time aswell. The secret passageway to the beach is a little treat that brings you out at some little warungs on the sand, perfect for lunch and some watch shopping. Along the path is Jespun Spa. A quaint little hut set up. We had Putu and her friends visit the villa for massages every second day. The best massages any of us had ever had, in the comfort of our villa at a time that suited us. $15 for 60 mins or $10 for 30 mins. The villa is a little way off the main drag of Seminyak, the walk is about 10 mins but when the heat of the day sets in the taksi drivers are happy to take you home for around $3. They are also very prompt in picking you up in the evenings to take you to any of the sensational restaurants in the local area. Ling Lings and Metis are a must do. There are no words to describe our experience at Villa Cendrawasih. We had a family holiday consisting of 8 adults. Not only is the property absolutely fabulous, the villa staff were incredible. From the time we arrived, we were looked after like one of the family. Dudu, the Villa Manager, was warm and approachable. Wayan, Yasa, Bagus and Laudu were amazingly warm, friendly and personable. And I cannot speak highly enough for Ngurah, our chef. Breakfast each morning was of a high standard, easily matching the 5 star resort offering nearby. We had the Balinese banquet 2 nights as it was so delicious and easily restaurant quality. I had my 40th birthday at the Villa and Dudu and his team created an unforgettable night via decorations, food, service and an impromptu Happy Birthday song...I was both impressed and touched. I would without a doubt book this Villa again in the future. Again, Dudu and his team made our holiday an unforgettable one. Many, many thanks
