Villa Kapungkur is a magnificent 5-bedroom property set within a serene 1,671 sqm water garden in Jimbaran. This stunning abode captures the romance of a bygone era by showcasing restored Javanese structures and an extraordinary collection of antique furniture.
The estate is perfectly located for exploration, being just a short walk from Jimbaran Beach and designer boutiques, while the world famous Uluwatu surf breaks are a mere 20 minute drive away.
The villa occupies a series of seven individual pavilions crafted from natural stone and recycled timbers to celebrate Indonesia's rich cultural heritage.
Outdoor living areas
The outdoor grounds are defined by a stunning 15m private swimming pool featuring a waterfall and a beautiful garden setting. Guests can relax on lounge chairs by the water or gather in the open sided Wantilan style pavilion that houses a kitchen, bar, and lounge area under a soaring thatched roof.
A major highlight of the property is the yoga and spa pavilion that appears to be floating above a pond, providing a tranquil space for holistic wellness.
The estate is also event ready, offering an al fresco dining area capable of hosting up to 30 guests for intimate celebrations.
Indoor living areas
The main communal space is a spacious open living area conveniently situated next to an indoor dining space and an open kitchen. For indoor relaxation, a separate media room pavilion is equipped with a large Smart TV. The interiors are richly decorated with ornately carved features and antique decor that maintain a cohesive Balinese theme throughout.
Guests can stay connected with high speed WiFi throughout the estate or enjoy a selection of books and board games provided in the lounge.
Bedrooms
Villa Kapungkur accommodates guests in five air conditioned bedroom pavilions, each uniquely named and designed, such as the Joglo Master Room, Limasan, and Gladak. Every room features a king size bed, a TV, and a private ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and rain shower. Several rooms, including the Master Bedroom and Gladak Room, offer luxurious bathtubs, while the Limasan and Gebyok rooms feature outdoor ensuites.
Large glass doors and private verandas ensure that every bedroom enjoys stunning pool or garden views.
Staff
The villa is supported by an exceptional team including a villa manager, villa attendants, a gardener, and night security to ensure a seamless stay. This property is absolutely incredible. Pristine cleanliness. Incredible private villas with a beautiful central pool and large gorgeous central shared space for meals and quality time. The staff were so attentive to our needs and were warm and friendly at all times. It’s hard to describe the level of service that we experienced - it was truly world class. Most definitely would recommend staying at this villa!
