Villa Issi

Our stay at Villa Issi was amazing! From the moment we arrived, we had a warm welcome by Dewa and rest of staff with beautiful floral garlands. The villa is very well-kept and clean. Dewa was extremely helpful and prompt in making any arrangements we requested. Chefs culinary skills are superb! We really enjoyed our Seafood BBQ dinner, a sumptuous meal to sum up our Bali trip. We'll definitely recommend anyone to Villa Issi on their upcoming trip to Bali. Cheers!

In a market saturated with villas, it's hard to find one that stands apart from the rest. I found this place through Elite Havens and was blown away by the photos. I've learned the hard way that what you see is not always what you get, but in the case of Villa Issi it is exactly as described. It has a modern, open living feel, but be warned it is not designed with young children in mind.The layout was perfect for our travelling group, with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs, separating the oldies from the young ones. It has all the creature comforts you'd expect from a high end villa. What sets it apart is the space that makes you feel like you're in your own little sanctuary, not crammed between hundreds of other villas. As well as this, the bifold doors into the dining and lounge area give you the flexibility to remain cool indoors without having to retreat to the bedroom, unlike a lot of other villas. And then there's the staff. Highly professional but friendly and personable at the same time. We learned lots about the local culture and customs, as Dewa and the team were only too willing to share their knowledge and engage our curiosity. Whatever the need/ request, they had it covered. When I enquired about where to find a birthday cake, not only did they source the cake but helium balloons and a surprise singalong to go with it - compliments of the villa. When we couldn't decide between pancakes and crepes for breakfast (a special request they were more than happy to accommodate), we got both, beautifully presented. Taking care of all our reservations, questions and requests, they were always on hand to make the trip hassle free. It was lovely to be greeted warmly every time we returned from an exhausting day out. It is a highly secure villa and we always felt that we were in good hands. My only criticism is that it's a little off the beaten track and somewhat inconvenient for taxis to reach so we did much of the travelling between main road and the villa on foot. But a little extra exercise is not a bad thing when you're consume countless cocktails.
