Villa Kelusa is an enchanting 4 bedroom villa situated in the traditional village of Kelusa, only 15 minutes drive away Ubud. The property is made of two different villas, Pondok Sapi and Pondok Surya, that can be rented together or separately. This beautiful compound is nestled at edge of a lush rainforest and boasts a stunning and panoramic view over rice fields, jungle and extinct volcanoes.
The nearby village of Ubud is one of the main attraction in Bali, it is considered the island’s artistic and cultural capitol. Here you’ll have the chance to indulge in famous local art galleries, Balinese organic markets, picturesque artisan shops and enjoy some of the best restaurants and cafes of the island. Villa Kelusa is the ideal solution if you are looking for a peaceful and heavenly retreat, a place immersed in the unspoiled nature with breathtaking view and yet very close the the beautiful village of Ubud.
Pondok Sapi
This beautiful and unique villa is made up of three different buildings, all beautiful and tastefully appointed. The outdoor area consists of a gorgeous infinity swimming pool nestled in a manicured and large garden. As from the rest of the buildings, you will have a breathtaking view over picturesque rice paddies, which at sunset are just spectacular. Adjacent the pool is the building called Pool Cabana, a beautiful and traditionally designed open-air lounge area. The Main Pavillion is another gorgeous space comprising a dining and living area with bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and an air-conditioned entertainment room that can be converted in an extra bedroom. The third building is the so called Glass House, a beautiful two-storey glass-walled pavilion with amazing view on the unspoiled surroundings, that boasts a studio library and two spacious bedrooms. Both rooms feature king size beds, flat screen TVs and en-suite bathrooms.
Pondok Surya
This gorgeous villa has also been designed to enjoy breathtaking views on the rice fields, jungle and volcanoes. The living area is a traditional open-plan space comprising a lounge corner, an entertainment area, an enclosed kitchen and a semi-outdoor bathroom. On the ground floor you will also have one of the two bedrooms, featuring a king size bed and TV. The amazing infinity pool literally ends inside the living area, splitting the space in two sections connected through a carved single piece of ironwood. The master bedroom of the villa is instead located on the upper level and boasts a king size bed and a terrace overlooking the stunning surroundings. The en-suite bathroom features a luxurious bathtub, carved from a single giant tree and boasts an amazing view.

This place was beautiful, the pictures are portraying it well, but it was even nicer In reality 😍. The staff was lovely, the food they prepared delicious and I will definitely come back again. Thank you 🙏🏻

5/5Spectacular stay. The space - both villas, the pools (though we only made use of one!), THE STAFF, the food, everything was incredible. Took us a while to get to the villa from Canggu but we stayed over the holidays so there was extra traffic. I strongly recommend anyone visiting ubud with family / friends or small group to stay here - we have zero regrets and cannot wait to return
