Villa Rumah Lotus is a gorgeous 2-bedroom holiday villa surrounded by spectacular rice fields and endless palm trees. The villa is located in a traditional village, offering guests the opportunity to experience an authentic Balinese lifestyle and enjoy one of the most peaceful areas of the island. Although a stay in this spectacular retreat will make guests feel like living in a remote area, the center of Ubud is actually pretty close, an easy 20-minute drive away.

The town of Ubud, widely considered the island’s cultural and culinary capital, is one of Bali’s top destinations. Here guests can eat in amazing restaurants and cafes, visit famous museums or exhibitions of local artists, practise yoga or meditation with some of the best teachers in Asia, or simply trek through gorgeous rice fields and rural villages to experience the real Bali.

Outdoor living areas

The huge garden of the villa is a stunning space that blends seamlessly with the breathtaking tropical surroundings. Waking up to a panorama of beautiful rice fields and majestic volcano peaks in the background is an experience that guests will never forget.

Rumah Lotus’s fantastic gardens can be accessed through a beautiful and traditional gate and feature hand-crafted sculptures, placid lotus ponds, lush exotic plants and several gazebos or lounge spots where to relax in utter peace.The stunning infinity swimming pool is certainly one of the highlights of these outdoor spaces and it will impress the guests as soon as they jump in. The scenery from here is even more breathtaking, there is no better place to refresh after a long day spent exploring Ubud or to work on a perfect tropical tan.

Indoor living areas

The gorgeous main living area of the villa is set in an open-sided pavilion featuring a beautiful soaring alang-alang roof and characterised by an elegant interior design and local art works. This open space offers breathtaking views over the tropical surroundings and comprises comfortable sofas, a dark timber dining table and a fully equipped open kitchen.

For ultimate relaxation the villa also offers a private spa room with massage beds, the perfect place to enjoy rejuvenating traditional Balinese massages.

Bedrooms

The villa features two beautiful and air-conditioned master bedrooms. The suites are furnished with gorgeous four-poster double beds and day-beds which could sleep up extra children. The bedrooms are also fitted with TVs, wardrobe areas and beautiful semi-outdoor private bathrooms with luxurious stand-alone tubs and rain showers instead.

Staff

The friendly and professional staff of the villa will assist the guests in everything they might need. The team comprises a knowledgeable villa manager, maids and night security guards.

In the rate is included a delicious daily breakfast, return airport transfer for all guests, a daily Ubud shuttle service in one 7-seater car ands free use of mountain bikes. Any extra services can also be arranged upon request.

Villa Rumah Lotus is a beautifully appointed luxury villa surrounded by rice paddy farms. It’s a truly unique place with no need to leave. The wonder staff (Yanti and Dewi) made delicious fresh meals and looked after us. The knowledgeable villa manager Made was on hand to assist with driving and any other requests. We felt very spoilt. The pool is huge and the views breathtaking. There’s so many spaces to relax. It is farmland so there are some roosters - earplugs came in handy in the mornings. Highly recommend the villa!

Awesome scenery from the moment you set foot on the living room. Nice place for family gateway, house staffs were friendly. We really enjoy the good hospitality and the atmosphere at the villa.
