Villa Samadhana is a stunning ocean view 5 bedroom villa located in the tranquil seaside village of Ketewel, few kilometres north of Sanur, on Bali’s beautiful southeast coast. The villa is beautifully positioned amongst rice fields, tobacco plantations and coconut groves, only few hundred metres from Pabean Beach. This areas of Bali is known for its slower pace compared to Bali’s busier touristic locations, but it’s still close to many attractions, places such as Sanur, Keramas and Ubud, the cultural capital of Bali, are within easy driving distance.
Villa Samadhana rests on an impressive 7,400 square metres of beautiful land and will offer guests space, tranquility and complete privacy. The size of the property makes it also ideal to host amazing weddings or special celebrations.
Outdoor living areas
The stunning and huge garden of Villa Samadhana has been designed by one of Bali’s most requested landscape architects and features towering palm trees, water features, gorgeous plants and manicured lawns, large enough to host a game of ball or to hold unforgettable weddings with the blue ocean as a background. Guests can also relax on one of the daybeds or sun loungers by the pool deck or swim in the 25 meter infinity pool with shallow area for kids. Just next to the swimming pool is also a l arge stone terrace with dining table, the perfect spot to organise unforgettable alfresco dinners.
Indoor living areas
The main living area of the villa occupies the gorgeous and large open-sided pavilion with polished terrazzo floors, traditional furnishings and high vaulted roof. This space comprises two lounge areas and a dining corner. Just next to this space is the a ir-conditioned TV room with large flat screen TV, DVD player and quality sound system.
Adjacent the pool area guests will also find a third beautiful living space, an open-sided entertainment pavilion with ocean views featuring a billiard table, TV with DVD player, stereo system, sofa, bar with stools and guest toilet. The huge kitchen featuring granite worktops, professional stove and wok burner completes the amazing indoor spaces of the property.
Bedrooms
Villa Samadhana counts five large and gorgeous bedrooms, all beautifully furnished and offering beautiful views over the amazing garden. The master bedroom occupies its own pavilion, separated from the main living areas, and features a k ing size bed, high ceiling, teak floors, private deck with garden and ocean view, a lounge room with sofa, flat screen TV with DVD player, a small studio, a large dressing room and a stunning tropical semi-open ensuite bathroom with large rectangular terrazzo bathtub and rain shower. Adjacent the main living pavilion are two guest bedrooms, perfect for families with kids. One of the suites feature a queen size bed with flat screen TV and DVD player, while the other one has twin beds and a small verandah. These bedrooms share a wooden deck and one bathroom with indoor terrazzo bathtub and walk-in shower. The remaining two bedrooms are found 50 meters from the main house and ensure complete privacy. These rooms feature queen size beds and tropical bathrooms with showers. Between the suites is also a living area and a kitchen with breakfast bar and stools.
Staff
Villa Samadhana amazing staff will offer a five star service and will introduce guests to the famous Balinese hospitality. The team of ten comprises a villa manager, a chef, assistant chef, butler, driver, maids, gardeners and security guards.

We had a large family reunion at the Villa and we had a marvelous time. The large wonderfully groomed grounds were fantastic for the kids to run around, the big pool was fantastic to splash around and the separate villas guaranteed a good night sleep for every one. And the best of all was the delicious food prepared by the friendly chef and served by the most dedicated staff we have every experienced. We'll be back.

5/5The staff at Villa Samadhana were wonderful and made an excellent weekend of friends and relaxation so much better. The food was delicious and the service always accommodating. The property was vast and lovely and our master bedroom really splendid. I loved the pool, the garden and the living areas. I would say however that some of the rooms could do with an update. The curtains in some were starting to perish, and some of the fittings and linen (towels and pool lounge covers) looked a bit tired. Also we had not been aware in advance that two of the rooms shared a bathroom; fine for families, not as good for singles who travelled a long way to join us. Overall we loved this place and we had a truly great weekend there. Renewing the linen and fittings, revarnishing the pool deck, would go a long way to resolving a few niggling issues. Thanks for a fab stay
