Element of 8 is a gorgeous luxury 6-bedroom villa perched on a lush cliffside, at the south-west tip of the island, overlooking the spectacular Gulf of Siam, the bay of Laem Sor and the offshore islands of Koh Tan and Koh Mad Sum.
This is one of the most unspoilt and exotic regions of Koh Samui and a stay at this spectacular vacation home will offer the perfect tropical island living experience. Being Samui a relatively small island, most of its attractions are easy to reach, including the more touristic locations of Chaweng and Bophut in the north, which are only a relaxed 45-minute drive away.
The villa is also part of a luxury complex, the Cape Laem Sor Estate, and thanks to its size and mesmerising setting it is ideal to organise weddings and special events.
Outdoor living areas
Designed in a contemporary style by the renowned architect Gary Elton, the villa develops over three descending levels which blend harmoniously with the gorgeous tropical landscape. The estate position also allows views across the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Siam from almost every corner of the property.
Element of 8's outdoor living areas feature beautiful lush gardens with well-manicured lawns and exotic plants, which blend perfectly with the surroundings. In this setting guests will surely enjoy the gorgeous 14-meter swimming pool overlooking the spectacular Laem Sor Bay, the alfresco dining wooden table, large terraces furnished with comfortable rattan sofas and the Balinese-style gazebo with thatched roof and comfortable cushions.
For special nights by the beach, the guests can head down to the private barbecue area, where the villa's staff will create unforgettable dinner experiences under the star-filled sky.
Indoor living areas
The villa's indoor spaces are characterised by an elegant beach house design featuring white wood vaulted ceilings and walls, terrazzo floors, gorgeous antiques and artworks, and full-length glass sliding doors opening onto wide terraces.
The beautiful and sophisticated main living room is found on the top level and enjoys jaw-dropping views of the ocean. This space comprises an open kitchen and a lounge area fitted with comfortable sofas and a 72" LCD flat-screen TV with surround sound system.
The villa also boasts a second professional kitchen equipped with modern amenities, where the in-house chef will prepare sumptuous meals, and a beautiful gym fitted with state-of-the-art training machines, weights, yoga mats and other equipment.
Bedrooms
Element of 8 features six gorgeous and elegant bedrooms, all fitted with king size beds and TVs.
The Master Bedroom 1, adjacent to the main living room on the top floor, is a stunning suite with high vaulted ceiling and wraparound views of the hillside and turquoise ocean. The room features large study, rattan sofas, a gorgeous terrace with sun loungers and a luxury ensuite bathroom with double vanity, rain shower and a standalone bathtub.
The Master Bedroom 2 is instead located one level below and features a private corner terrace with dining table, a large dressing area, comfortable sittings and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower and a freestanding bathtub.
The Guest Bedrooms 1 and 2 are also located on this same level and are almost identical in their design. The suites feature dressing areas, wardrobe spaces, comfortable rattan chairs and ensuite bathrooms with rain showers. Next to these, but occupying its own private area, is the Guest Bedroom 3. This suite boasts large sliding glass walls overlooking the ocean and opening onto a spacious furnished terrace, and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower.
The last suite of the villa is an actual studio apartment. This large bedroom is located in its own pavilion that can be reached through either stairs from the pool terrace or via a separate entrance from the car park. The room comprises a show kitchen with fantastic sea views and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower and a bathtub.
Staff
The discreet and professional staff of the villa will take care of the guests' every need. A private chef will prepare every morning a delicious complimentary breakfast and all other meals upon request. The villa manager will instead manage the villa with its staff, and is available full time to help with reservations, as well as transport and tour arrangements.
