Description
Villa Amanzi is a gorgeous 7-bedroom ocean-view villa located on the headland separating the bays of Kata and Kata Noi. This is a really prime location, as guests will have the white sands of Kata Noi Beach and the beautiful Kata Beach only a minute away.
Both locations offer great dining and entertainment choices and are very popular with tourists thanks to their stunning sceneries, the breathtaking sunsets and their gorgeous calm waters (during wet season, from May to October, they also offer excellent surfing conditions).
Some of Phuket's finest attractions are also a short drive away from the villa, places like the Big Buddha statue, the beautiful Nai Harn bay and the charming Old Phuket Town.
The property is set within the secure and gorgeously landscaped Katamanda Estate, a complex including luxury properties that can be rented separately or combined to accommodate larger groups. Guests will also have access to the estate clubhouse, which includes a tennis court, a café, a swimming pool and a gym equipped with treadmill, cross trainer, recumbent bike, elliptical and a set of dumbbells.
Outdoor living areas
Set over three levels on the hillside, Villa Amanzi boasts stunning outdoor areas with breathtaking views over Kata Noi beach and its turquoise waters.
The large 15-meter infinity-edge swimming pool occupies the villa's middle level terrace. Guests can dive in it to refresh while admiring the outstanding panorama, or simply relax taking advantage of covered pool deck, fitted with several comfortable seatings. Next to the pool are also a fantastic open-air spa area, an outdoor shower and a sauna!
On the upper terrace guests will instead enjoy the entertainment/alfresco dining area, a beautiful covered space with spectacular view, featuring a bar, a lounge corner with sofas, a billiard table, a BBQ grill and an eight-seater dining table.
Indoor living areas
The expansive and luxurious indoor living areas, spread over three levels, will offer guests plenty of spaces to unwind or socialise with family and friends. For ease of access the top two floors are connected by a lift, in addition to stairs.
The main living area is found on the middle level and opens onto the pool deck through large glass sliding doors. This air-conditioned room boasts amazing sea views and features beautiful sofas, a 50" flat screen TV, a Bose sound system, a formal dining table for ten and an elegant bar. On this same floor is also the stunning open kitchen of the villa, a spacious room fitted with modern appliances and offering breathtaking views over the bay and the surrounding emerald hills.
On the lower floor, adjoining one of the guests' bedrooms, the villa features a TV room with view, fitted with a large sofa and a Bang & Olufsen entertainment system.
On the top floor is also an air-conditioned multi-purpose room, which can be used as an indoor spa with massage beds or it can be set up as a kid's room with toys and games. Additionally, extra beds can be arranged for additional sleeping spaces.
Bedrooms
Villa Amanzi has six gorgeous and air-conditioned bedrooms, all offering either sea or garden views.
The first master suite, located on the upper level, is a luxurious large room with stunning view over the Andaman Sea and it features a king size bed, a furnished terrace, a sofa, a large closet with dressing area, a flat screen TV and a gorgeous bathroom with bathtub, double vanities, shower and double toilet.
The second master suite is instead located on the middle floor and it also boasts fantastic views through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The room features a king size bed, a flat screen TV, a small desk, armchairs, a large wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with a beautiful bathtub, double vanities and a separate shower.
The guest suites 1 and 2 are found on the upper floor and enjoy access to a shared sun deck furnished with sun loungers and chairs, which offers fantastic views. The bedrooms are fitted with king size beds and feature private bathrooms with showers. On this same level is also the guest suite 5, with lovely view and private bathroom.
On the middle level of the villa we have the guest suite 3, a lovely bedroom featuring twin beds (also convertible into a king size bed), a furnished patio, a flat screen TV with DVD player and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.
The last bedroom, the guest suite 4, is instead located on the lower floor and it is adjacent the TV room. The suite offers stunning ocean views and it features a king size bed and a private bathroom with a separate shower.
Staff
The amazing and professional staff of the villa will take care of the guests' every needs. The team comprises a villa manager, a chef and an assistant chef, housekeepers, a gardener and pool maintenance. Extra staff like babysitters and massage therapists are available on request (at an additional cost). The villa rate also includes a delicious daily breakfast, guests will just need to choose between Continental or Asian style.

Can’t really argue with what was provided, we wanted somewhere for 2 families with 4 teenagers to unwind after a busy year. We spent 2 days reading and looking at the view. K. Gai’s cooking was excellent throughout, the BBQ at the outdoor sala was excellent, kata Noi beach would have to be the best on the island. I would recommend a few cocktails at the casual beach bar “on the rocks” they will rent you a SUP or you can just people watch (European’s wearing dental floss and getting skin cancer). House feels lived in but it works and had all amenities needed for a relaxed stay. We stopped trying to go out ... perfect!
