This amazing property enjoys a secluded setting in the rural Tabanan, a less crowded area few kilometres north of Canggu, making it ideal for those couples or small families looking to have a more authentic “taste” of the Bali way of life.
The area surrounding the villa is characterised by picturesque rice paddy fields, lush vegetations and a variety of cultural attractions. The scenic black sand beach of Pasut is just in front of the villa, the perfect place to enjoy relaxing walks among local villagers or admire amazing sunsets with your loved one.
Great cultural and natural attraction are also not far from the property; you can take a drive out to visit Bali’s signature temples of Tanah Lot or Pura Taman Ayun, the amazing Jatiluwih rice paddies fields, the Blemantung Waterfall or adventure in the Sangeh Monkey Forest, just next to Bali’s cultural capital, Ubud. For those who wants to have some fun day shopping in the most touristic area of the island, the vibrant Seminyak can be reached in less than an hour drive.
Tabanan area also offers a fair number of great dining options, places such has Sushi Surf, Warung Disini, SizzleWrap and Ombak. The villa is also part of a small complex with its own restaurant.
Outdoor living area
Villa Laut’s outdoor area is simply amazing. A gorgeous hand-carved gate will lead you into the lush ocean front garden featuring high towering palms and a beautiful free form swimming pool with kids shallow area. This area also features sun loungers, bean bags and a traditional bale (gazebo) perfect to practise yoga or meditation. At its extremity the garden meets the amazing black sand beach, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean, simply spectacular at sunset.
Indoor living areas
This unique property has been crafted out of gorgeous iron wood and boasts an amazing design, which blends the Sumatran style with a more charming colonial architecture. The traditional pavilion that houses the living and dining area is characterised by high soaring alang-alang roof and floor-to-ceiling glass walls, which will allow you to enjoy the amazing view. The interior of the villa has a rustic and comfortable feel, and boasts designer teak furniture, elegant leather armchairs, flowing chandeliers, hand-carved panels and doors, Chinese porcelain lamp and amazing antiques from different eras and countries. The pavilion is also enclosed and features air-conditioning, perfect if you want to refresh and relax during the hottest hours of the day. There is also a fully equipped kitchenette and a dining table for romantic candle-lit dinners.

Villa Laut offers two beautiful and romantic bedrooms, both characterised by wooden interiors, comfortable queen size beds and ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom features a stunning four-poster bed, antique furnishings and a gorgeous copper bathtub in the bathroom.
