Villa Maya Retreat is a gorgeous 6 bedroom villa located in the rural village of Cepaka, right over the banks of the Penet River, in the Tabanan Regency, also known as Bali’s ‘rice bowl’ due to its picturesque paddy rice fields. Despite being only few kilometres away from some of the most touristic locations of the island, like the Bali’s signature temple of Tanah Lot and the surfing town of Canggu, this tranquil village still offers a glimpse on authentic rural and religious traditions, unchanged across generations and untouched by tourism.
Villa Maya Retreat is a gorgeous private paradise boasting a unique tropical architecture. With its large spaces it is the ideal accommodation for large families and groups of friends looking to unwind in a peaceful tropical environment, away from crowds but still close to some of Bali’s most sought-after locations.
Outdoor living areas
The lush gardens of the villa are surely one of its highlights. This picturesque space rests on the banks of the Penet River and will offer the perfect setting to relax and spend unforgettable moments with family and friends.
The outdoor area features a beautiful 12 meter long swimming pool, surrounded by a timber deck with sun loungers, a convenient alfresco dining area, two traditional balè (Balinese gazebo) and a lovely furnished terrace overhanging the river.
Indoor living areas
The main living spaces of the villa are set in beautiful open-sided pavilions overlooking there main pool, both gorgeously decorated with Indonesian art pieces and stone statues. One is the lounge pavilion, featuring a 42” satellite TV with DVD player, sofas and good collection of books and DVDs, while the other is the dining pavilion, fitted with a solid wood dining table. Adjoining this space is also the fully equipped kitchen of the property.
Bedrooms
Villa Maya Retreat offers six amazing bedrooms with king size beds, each housed in its private pavilion, with three boasting their own plunge pools!
The Master Suite is located in a secluded corner of the villa overlooking the river. This gorgeous bedroom features a 5-meter plunge pool with sundeck, a walk-in wardrobe, a TV lounge and a semi-outdoor tropical bathroom with terrazzo bathtub and black stone rain shower.
The two Upper Terrace Suites are set on higher grounds and enjoy scenic valley views. These bedrooms have also plunge pools with sun loungers and feature en-suite bathrooms with showers and tubs, one semi-outdoor, in the most traditional Balinese style, and one completely enclosed.
The remaining three bedrooms are called the Riverside Suites, as they are located just next to the riverbank and enjoy amazing jungle views. All suites feature private lounge cornerswith rattan sofa, outdoor terraces and tropical bathrooms with lava stone rain showers. One of this bedrooms also boasts TV with DVD player and a stone bathtub.
Staff
The professional staff of the villa will make the guests’ stay extremely comfortable, as they will take care of every detail and will be available for every request. The staff comprises a local villa manager, housemaids, a private chef, gardeners, pool attendants and security guards. The rate also includes one car with driver available daily (excluding arrival and departure days).

Por favor date el placer de alquilar esta Villa, te va a encantar! es uno de los lugares más lindos que hemos alquilado. La paz va a inundar tu corazón. En la Villa todo es cómodo, el agua fresca de la piscina, la cama es cómoda y el baño es precioso. La Villa forma parte de un espacio que es hermoso, con mucha agua y paz y las personas que atienden son encantadoras. No dudes en alquilarla, la vas a amar! :)
